Garlic————————-10 cloves

Bay leaf ———————1 no

Turmeric pwd. ————-1 tsp

Cumin pwd.   ————–1 tsp

Coriander pwd ————1 tsp

Chilli pwd ——————-1 tsp

Kashmir chili pwd  ——-1 tsp

Garam masala pwd —-1/2 tsp

Cumin(whole) ————1/2 tsp

Cardamom(whole)——2 no

Cinnamon(whole) ——-Small piece

Tomato ——————–4 no 

Tomato sauce ———–2 tbsp. 

Chilli sauce—————-2 tbsp.

Follow these steps to prepare indian chicken curry Recipe

  1. First, wash the chicken properly with water. Now add 1tsp of turmeric pwd,1tsp of salt, add 2tsp of( onion, garlic, ginger) paste, 1 tsp of mustard oil, and mix well and left it for 15 minutes for marination.
  2. Now put a pan in the gas. Add 5 tsp of oil into the pan.
  3. Add 1/2 tsp cumin seeds into oil when the cumin becomes brown in color then
  4. Add 1/3rd tsp of sugar into the oil. When sugar melt and turn into brown then add 1 onion cutting into the pan and stir it.
  5. Add 1 bay leaf,2 red chilies (optional),2 cardamoms, a small piece of cinnamon into the pan.
  6. When onions become golden brown color then add 2 tsp of Kashmir chili pwd into the pan for eye-catching color.
  7. Then add onion, ginger, garlic paste into the pan and stir very well.
  8.  Then add turmeric pwd, cumin pwd, coriander pwd, red chilly pwd, into the pan and stir very well.
  9. Then add tomato cubes into the pan then again mix very well.
  10. After 2 minutes spicy aroma comes from all spices then add all marinated raw chicken into the pan and mix well.
  11. Add 3 tbsp tomato sauce,2 tbsp chili sauce, and mix well.
  12. After 2 minutes adds salt according to your test and mix well.
  13. Then cover the chicken and leave for 5 Min.
  14. Repeat the procedure again.
  15. After 5 minutes opens the cover and stir again and add 4 /5 cups of water into the chicken and cover it and leave for 15 minutes.
  16. After 15 minutes opens the cover check the chicken whether it will cook or not.
  17. If chicken is cooked then add 2 tbsp. of cashew nuts paste into the curry and cook without cover for another 5 minutes.
  18. Now chicken gravy reduced in volume and becomes thick.
  19. Then add garam masala powder into a chicken curry. Then add some coriander leaves over the curry. Now Chicken curry is completed.

 

Note

When you add salt then be careful because salt already added to chicken in the stage of marination. So add salt as per your test.

 Q. Why my Chicken curry is not eye-catching in Color?

 Ans: Some people are used color for eye-catching curry but I am not in favor of color in curry. I always avoid color for food but I used Kashmir chili pwd for coloring chicken curry. Generally, Kashmir chili pwd is not spicy in the test but eye-catching in Color. you can use Kashmir chili powder for your chicken curry.

Q. Why my indian chicken curry gravy become very thin? 

Ans: Gravy totally depends on water. If you add more water then your gravy becomes thin. So you add a little amount of water to chicken curry in the first step then if required add more water. 

Q. Why my chicken curry becomes overcooked?

Ans: If you are cooking in a pressure cooker then you have to very careful about the whistle. You have to turn your gas switch into low flame after two whistles and wait for the third whistle in low flame. Then turn off the switch and open the lid immediately.

Here I giving some ideas about how to make chicken biryani using this leftover chicken curry recipe. You can convert this leftover chicken curry recipe into an easy, tasty, and fast prepared recipe that is very good in taste.

 First, you take a half-boiled basmati chawl, some fried onions, garam masala pwd, chopped coriander leaves, chopped tomato, chili sauce, tomato sauce, salt according to your taste.

  •  Put the biryani-making utensil/handi into the gas.
  • Then add two tablespoons of desi ghee (cow ghee) into the pan.
  • Then add 2 cardamoms, a small piece of cinnamon,3 cloves, 1staranise into the pan.
  • Add two medium-size onion cuttings into the pan and stir it when the onions become golden brown then add one tomato cuttings into the pan then stir well.
  • When tomato cooked add one tbsp tomato sauce and one tbsp of chili sauce into the pan then stair well.
  • Then add leftover chicken curry and 
  •  Add salt according to your taste be careful chicken curry having already salt.
  • Stir well and cover this chicken curry and cook for 2 minutes. 

Then divide chicken curry into two parts and also rice into two parts. Take out one part of chicken from biryani handi then take one part of rice and spread over chicken curry which is in Biryani handi and then adds some fried onions over the rice, then sprinkle some saffron milk (soak saffron with milk before 1 hour) then add chopped coriander leaves.

Then set the rest half chicken curry and spread the remaining rice over the chicken curry. Then add fried onions over the second layer of rice. Now sprinkle saffron milk and at last add some chopped coriander leaves. 

Now cover this and left for only 10 minutes on low flame because our chickens are already cooked but this 10 minutes for half rice boil and flavoring spice all over the biryani. After 10 minutes opens the cover and checks the rice from one side by a spoon if it will be cooked properly then switched off the gas. Now the chicken biryani prepared from a leftover chicken curry recipe.
