You can take basmati rice or any long grain rice it may be branded or not . If you have'nt long grain rice then you can used regular rice which is available in your kitchen but it should be aged.

Procedure

Add 2 tbsp of desi ghee or oil. Then add bayleaf, balck cardamom, cardamom, cloves . Now add 1/2 tsp of cumin seeds into hot oil.

Stir all these spices for two minute then add onion ond zinger into oil and fry till onion becomes golden color. Then add green chillies.

Now add rice on the pan and saute continously otherwise rice will burn or pop up which  we don't need. We just fry only two minutes in medium flame for best result.

Now this is time to add green peas. Add fresh peas. If you have not fresh peas then you can add frozen also.

Now add twice the water of rice. Add salt according to your taste. Squzee 1/2 lemon into this and let it to boil

Let it for boil in  high flame. When one boil comes then turn the flame into low to medium and cover it.

After 7-8 minutes open the cover cheack the pulao it may be 70% cook and stir it then covert it again and cook for sometime in low flame till all moisture soacked by rice.

  Cheack after 5 minute rice will cook. Now switch off the gas. If you want soft rice  then cover it for 5 minutes for soft rice. Now peas pulao  is ready to serve.
